Daisy Ridge Service Unit is part of the Girl Scout Council of Northwest Georgia. We serve as a liaison between the Girl Scout Council and troops in the Druid Hills area of DeKalb County. Our Service Unit includes about 50 troops at 13 schools, plus area home-schooled girls. The public schools include: Briar Vista, Fernbank, Kittredge, Laurel Ridge, McLendon, Medlock, Robert Shaw, Shamrock Middle School and Druid Hills High School. Private schools include: Arbor Montessori, Cliff Valley, Emory Montessori and Immaculate Heart of Mary School.

Service Unit meetings (for troop leaders) are held at North Decatur Presbyterian Church at 7 p.m. on the second Monday of every month during the school year.

    • Did you know there's a new class that all troops must take before your first field trip? It's the Trip & Travel Training. You can sign up for an online class, or you can take it through the Council.
    • The service unit still needs a few more volunteers in the Service Unit team! A major need is the Cooke Chair for the service unit. Contact Ruth Corbett if you can play this critical role!
